Nicole Schlumberger works at the intersection of ecology and horticulture, with a diverse skill set that includes field botany, wildland seed collection, California native plant propagation, and rare plant monitoring. With a focus on assisting clients in the strategic integration of native flora into their landscapes, she is committed to promoting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. Currently, she is an instructor in the Agriculture and Natural Resources Department at Santa Rosa Junior College and a partner at Merlin Arborist Group, a  tree care and consulting firm located in Sebastopol, CA. 

​When not collecting seeds and growing plants, Nicole can be found running on local trails and biking with her daughter.
